  3. I LOVE your blog!!!!!!!!!!! This morning I woke up and it was raining outside, the kids were being hmmm, unmotivated and I thought for a moment that it would be so nice to curl up in bed with the dogs and a good book….then, I thought, I need to go to the gym…this train of thought is in part because of your blogs. So, thank you. :)

    Just one question, what four days are you running with the Bridge to 10k? With the couch to 5k runs I would take the weekend off…just curious how you are fitting the 4th day in and resting?

  4. Jen, it’s a ton of work, each week takes days of preparation at home and hours and hours in the studio. Thanks for letting me know my hard work is appreciated.

  5. Theresa good for you! That’s a great question. Even though, I’ve haven’t made it to that point yet. I’ll probably stick with my 5K training Of Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. I will probably add Thursday as my 4th training day.

    Just wanted to let you know that I’ve just got back from a run listening to week 1 of your new podcast.

    I’d lost a bit of interest and motivation since completing the 5k and was only running once every couple of weeks, I needed new inspiration and a new challenge. So after seeing your new post have decided to combat the winter weather here in the uk head on and rather than staying in and eating to much food I have decided to conquer running the ten 10 by Christmas. And hopefully loose a few pounds ready for those Christmas party dresses!! Thanks for all your effort, Fiona x

  18. @ Kathy, I listened to Week 2 of the Bridge to 10K and realized that I mixed up the voice prompts. Sometimes I say Day 1&3 when I should say Day 2&4. However, I posted it up, and will get a corrected version loaded as soon as I can get back in the studio.

  19. Which bridge to 10k program does this follow? The only ones I can find involve interval training. btw…thanks so much for providing these. I ran my first 5k today and am excited to start this program to help me run a half in April!!

  20. Amanda, CONGRATS on your 5K….my half marathon is in April as well. I actually created my own program. I didn’t really see the need to run intervals once you’ve already run a 5K. So I created an 8 week program, similar to the one hour runner program. Even though my podcasts aren’t recorded yet, this weekend I hope to at least get the program posted.

  23. Will run my first 5K this weekend, would like to sign up for a 10K in another 5 weeks, is that possible? How many weeks total will the Bridge to 10K entail?
