Let’s Go Fly a Kite…

…up to the highest height, Let’s go fly a kite and send it Soaring!” That’s a line from my favorite childhood movie Mary Poppins . Why am I singing Mary Poppins ? Because kite flying was my only exercise today. I was too sore from Wednesday’s boot camp class and couldn’t make it to class this morning. It was my brother-in-law’s “brilliant” idea, I thought it was a joke at first. But this afternoon, there were about 7 of us grown adults and a few teens, flying kites on Art Hill in Forest Park. I did actually sweat, chasing the Spiderman Kite up and down the giant hill. What a unique way to get your body moving. Afterwards, me and my Big little sister went for a Thai massage. It was so great!!! That little woman worked out every sore muscle and every bit of tension, she even cleared my sinuses. That was by far the best $45 I ever spent. [ad#Google Adsense]
