Let Them Eat Cake…

 

 

bday-1This was a phrase I took way to literally as I celebrated and indulged at my Niece’s 1st B-Day on Saturday, and Memorial Day Dinner on Sunday AND again Monday.  However, this morning when I got on the scale, I was quickly snapped back into reality.  The reality where cake everyday for 3 days and overlooked workouts does not help me fit into my skinny jeans.  I started off the morning with a strawberry protein shake, nonetheless a half of a donut managed to sneak in.  At lunch, I initiated the mile long power walk with the co-worker friend, and the salads that followed.  I finished the day with a 3 mile jog, in 55 minutes, and a healthy dinner of grilled tilapia and stir-fry veggies.
