My First Charted 5K Training Run!

I did my first charted run today with Nike Plus!  It’s a cool little device that you attach to your tennis shoe and your ipod that tracks your distance speed etc.  I added a link below if you want to learn more.   You have been volunteered to be on my cheerleading committee.  As most of you know, I have committed to RUN a 5k (3.1 Miles) on Saturday April 18, 2009 with GO! Saint Louis.  You will receive updates on how I’m progressing in my training.  You can delete these emails if you want, you don’t have to reply, I’m just using this as a form of accountability.  Thanks!

Today’s Run, I was feeling only about 70%, my everything was hurting, but I did it anyway, what a beautiful day to run in Forest Park :-) Check out my chart I ran/walked 1.82 miles.

I just finished week 5 and am amazed that the 20-minute run went so well! Tomorrow is my 63rd birthday and my goal is to run a 5K in May. Thanks for your help in getting me there, Carli!
